Description
A group of nineteen raw Imperial Topaz crystals, a rare and valuable variety of the mineral topaz. These crystals, also known as precious topaz, are prized for their rich, natural hues ranging from golden yellow to orange, pink, and red. Imperial topaz is most valued for its intense golden to reddish-orange colors, often described as sunset or peach tones. The natural pink and red shades are the rarest. It scores an 8 on the Mohs hardness scale, making it a durable gemstone suitable for various types of jewelry. The primary source for nearly all natural imperial topaz is the Ouro Preto region in Minas Gerais, Brazil, though historical deposits were also found in the Ural Mountains of Russia. This variety is much rarer and more expensive than the common blue or white topaz. Good condition.
