A darbuka, also known as a doumbek or tabla, a Middle Eastern goblet drum, made by Mid-East Mfg. It has a goblet-like form and is an essential percussion instrument in traditional music from the Middle East, North Africa, and the Balkans. The drum produces two main sounds: the deep "Dum" from the center and the sharper "Tek" from the edge. The head is typically made of goatskin or a synthetic material. It includes a carrying case with a shoulder strap. 9" Dia x 15" H Good condition.
