Description
This cut crystal glass pitcher dates to the early–mid 20th century and is stylistically associated with the American Brilliant Period (1876–1914), an era celebrated for finely crafted, hand-cut lead crystal with exceptional clarity and sparkle. Formed from heavy lead crystal, the piece displays intricate brilliant-cut decoration, including a prominent hobstar or starburst motif on the sides and base, detailed cross-hatching, and fan-shaped cutting near the rim and spout that enhances its light-reflecting brilliance. The curved handle features classic circular “thumbprint” indentations, while the rim is finished with a delicate sawtooth edge. Measuring approximately 10 inches high and preserved in good condition.
