Description
A type of spatter glass art vase, also commonly referred to as "End of Day" glass or Murrhina glass. It is an antique piece from the late 19th or early 20th century, typically attributed to French makers like Legras or Bohemian (Czech) makers such as Kralik or Welz. The vase has a bulbous, round base and a ruffled, crimped top rim. It features a mottled or marbled mix of pink, yellow, and white colors, cased in clear glass. These hand-blown pieces are characteristic of the Victorian or Art Nouveau period (circa 1880-1920s). 5 1/2" H Good condition.
