Description
A vintage post office lockbox coin safe bank, produced by Jolly Good Industries Inc.. It is made with a combination lock mechanism set into a wooden casing and designed to look like an antique U.S. post office door. Jolly Good Industries Inc., is based in Boynton Beach, Florida, but the product was manufactured in Taiwan. The door mechanism is metal (often described as bronze or brass finish), set into a solid oak or similar wood frame. It serves primarily as a decorative still bank or piggy bank for collecting coins and small items, rather than a high-security safe. It typically includes a working combination lock and a transparent window displaying a unique lockbox number, in this case, "8392". 6 1/2" H x 5" L x 4" W Good condition.
